About Arise Racking

John Sharp and Ethan Sharp entered the pallet racking industry when a need was identified with the help of Jeremy Sharp (Johns eldest son).
John and Gaye built and ran the business from home.
With Johns background as a shearer and dairy farmer, His hard work ethic have been the major driver in the teams he has built. John has always prided himself on quality and being time efficient, which is why Arise Racking is still recognized for preforming under great time pressure and producing quality. Johns vision for arise is that it would benefit his staff and family and community groups which Arise sponsor.
Now in 2016 John and Gaye have in their employ, their Son Ethan Sharp, Son-in-law Quentin, Brother Willie, and Nephew Charlie, Daughters Amy and Benita.

2007

John and Ethan and the team constructed the largest Raised Storage area in New Zealand; John employed his Son-in-law Quentin Rogers, who had been a high-end cabinetmaker for nine years and foreman of a small factory, to assist with running small projects.

2008

Arise took on their first international project installing a raised storage area and 6000-pallet position system in Fiji

2009

Arise Racking built the largest two tier Raised storage area in New Zealand and was involved in the installation of 53,000 pallet positions of very high tolerance Shuttle racking, at which Arise Racking excelled.

2011

Arise was involved in the removal of quake damaged racking and installation of new generation pallet racking systems in Christchurch after the Quakes.

2013

Arise Racking received an award for Health and Safety excellence from New Zealand’s largest supplier of racking solutions for their outstanding performance and dedication to safety.

2015

Arise racking embarked on a very large new generation shuttle storage solution in the South Island.
